Somali Prime Minister Abdiweli Mohamed Ali said that Turkey's activities in Somalia presented a concrete model.
I hope other countries would take Turkey as an example, added Ali who spoke at the opening of the 2nd Somalia Conference in Istanbul on Thursday.
Noting that Turkish-Somali ties were rooted in the past, Ali said that Somalia had been under the protection of Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.
Turkey had always supported Somalia, Turkey and Somalia should act together for the future of Somalia, Ali said, adding that international community would be successful only if it acted together for the future of Somalia.
Noting that Somalia wanted to be included in global economic zone in the East Africa region, Ali said that they wanted to focus on export more than import.
