The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, at II Congress of Mining and Metallurgical Industry called upon the heads of some mining and metallurgical enterprises to invest in manufacturing safety, Kazakhstan Today agency reports.

"Recently, we with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development and Arselor Mittal Temirtau discussed investments into manufacturing safety, mining works etc.," K. Masimov said.

"All the equipment in the enterprises has worn out, therefore, you need to pay special attention to safety issues."
