Tuesday, 1 December 2009Kazakhstan and Belarus have accepted 'road map' of bilateral trade and economic cooperation for 2010 - 2011. The document was signed on Friday in Minsk in the presence of the Presidents of two countries, Kazakhstan Today agency reports citing news agency BELTA.
According to BELTA, 'road map' of bilateral trade and economic cooperation for 2010 - 2011 is a detailed plan of joined work for the intermediate term prospects.
The parties also signed cooperation agreements in the field of public health services and medical science, industrial and scientific and technical cooperation, and trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation at the inter-regional level.
The parties also signed memorandum of mutual understanding between the Ministry of Finance of Belarus and the Agency for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations of Kazakhstan.
According to the Belarus agency, the Presidents of Belarus and Kazakhstan also accepted the joint statement. The parties have underlined importance of consecutive development of the integration processes on a multilateral basis and developments of the uniform approaches towards organization of the work of the CIS, EurAsEC, the Customs Union, and CSTO. Belarus and Kazakhstan support the idea of carrying out of the OSCE summit in 2010, taking into account the necessity of serious analysis of the modern role and the future of this organization for a wide context of safety and cooperation, adaptation of OSCE to the new challenges and modern realities.
According to BELTA, Nursultan Nazarbayev invited the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, to visit Kazakhstan in 2010 and to take part in an informal meeting of the heads of states on December 18, 2009.
