Tuesday, 1 December 2009Creation of the Customs Union will allow Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia to reach by 2015 GDP growth of 15 %. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said making comments on advantages of the Customs Union, Kazakhstan Today agency reports citing news agency BELTA.
According to N. Nazarbayev, a huge market is being created with total volume of oil stocks - 90 billion barrels, gross GDP - $2 trillion, cumulative goods turnover - $900 billion, and agricultural products - $112 billion.
The President of Kazakhstan said that the Customs Union opens additional huge prospects for the countries joining it. It will speed up creation of joint industrial cooperation. Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia will be able to trade freely, to create new workplaces, and will increase competitiveness of their markets.
N. Nazarbayev underlined that the Customs Union is the basis for creation of the uniform economic space. Preparation of its standard base will be finished in 2011.
