* TURKEY MAKES HALF OF ITS IMPORTS FROM SIX COUNTRIES

Turkey made nearly half of its imports from six
countries in the first nine months of 2009.

Imports from Russia, Germany, China, the United States, Italy and France
accounted for 49.4 billion USD. Turkey's total imports in this period amounted to 100.1 billion USD.

Those countries are followed by Spain, Britain, South Korea, Iran, Ukraine
and Japan.

Imports from the first six countries in the January-September 2009 are as
follows:
