One of the most modern shopping malls in Iraq, "Majidi Mall", has been opened in Irbil city of northern Iraq on Tuesday.
Inaugurating the new mall, Dr. Berham Salih, a high level official of the regional administration in north of Iraq, said that the shopping mall was Turkey’s work of art.
Speaking to AA, Dr. Salih said that the regional administration in north of Iraq had very good relations with Turkey.
We will work further to develop our relations with Turkey. The new shopping mall is an example of good relations with Turkey. This mall is the joint work of art of Turkey and the region. There are many Turkish brands being sold in the Irbil mall. Turkish architects were the ones who drew plans of the mall. They really did a great job, Dr. Salih said.
Majidi Mall is situated on a land of 130,000 square meters. It has a parking lot for 2,500 automobiles.
