Tuesday, 24 November 2009RosCosmos expects prompt resolving of a misunderstanding with postponement of the launch of a carrier rocket Proton-M with the space satellite W7 from the cosmodrome Baikonur, the agency Kazakhstan Today reports citing the press service of the State Hrunichev Space Research-and-Production Centre.
"Kazakhstan has not given permission to launch the Russian rocket Proton-M with the space satellite. The launch was postponed until November 24.
"Postponement of the launch has caused material and image damage to Russia."
KazCosmos informs that this year "there have been no plans to launch the space satellite W7."
According to KazCosmos, they received a request from Russia to allow the launch of the space satellite W7 and the carrier rocket Proton-M on September, 26th.
