The government of Kazakhstan has made a decision on development of the Law on Information and Information Protection along with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Vice Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan, Marat Beketaev, informed today, addressing the international conference Access to Public Information in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Today agency reports.

"The government has made a decision to develop the Law on Information and Information Protection. We will also need to develop some accompanying bills. The bill will be introduced in Parliament in 2010," M. Beketaev informed.

"The Agency for Information and Communications and the Ministry of Justice will develop the bill and UNDP will help," Vice Minister explained.
