Corruption Perceptions Index posits Kazakhstan in 120th place, Transparency International published Corruption Perceptions Index of 2009 reflecting the level of corruption in public sector of various countries, Kazakhstan Today agency reports.

According to Transparency International, in today's world with the first modest signs of the economic recovery where at the same time a number of countries are still trying to cope with internal conflicts and instability, no state and no region is insured against the risks connected with corruption.
