1- Turkish President Abdullah Gul will receive head of Iraq's Islamic Supreme Council Ammar Abdulaziz Al-Hakim and accompanying delegation at Tarabya Palace in Istanbul. (5:00 p.m.)
2- Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is in Italy.
- Erdogan will attend a luncheon which will be hosted by Food & Agriculture Organization's (FAO) director in Rome, and then he will hold a press conference.
- Erdogan will deliver a speech as the guest of honor at FAO Summit. He will then depart from Italy.
3- Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin will welcome Speaker Mahmoud al-Abrash of Syrian People's Assembly and accompanying delegation in Ankara. (10:05 p.m.)
4- Italian President Giorgio Napolitano is in Turkey.
- Napolitano will receive Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Deniz Baykal at Italian Embassy in Ankara. (10:00 a.m.)
- Napolitano will deliver a speech at Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History & Geography. (10:40 a.m.)
5- Egypt's Defense Minister Hussein Tantawi will pay a visit to Chief of Turkish General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug at General Staff HQ in Ankara. (9:15 a.m.)
6- Turkish State Minister Faruk Celik is in Kazakhstan.
- Celik will attend a ceremony to sign a protocol after the 6th term meeting of Turkey-Kazakhstan Joint Economic Commission. He will also hold bilateral meetings in ministerial level.
- Celik will attend a reception which will be hosted by Turkish Ambassador in Astana Atilla Gunay.
7- Third term meeting of Turkey-Bangladesh Commerce, Economy & Technical Cooperation Joint Commission will begin in Ankara under the co-chairmenship of Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin and Bangladeshi Finance Minister Abu Maal Abdul Muhith. (11:00 a.m.)
8- Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini will attend inauguration of the 6th Turkish-Italian Forum in Istanbul. (3:00 p.m.)
- Davutoglu will then proceed to Afghanistan to attend oath-taking ceremony of President Hamid Karzai. |
