Turkish Industry & Trade Minister Nihat Ergun met with Prof. Andras Kelemen, co-chairman of Hungary-Turkey Interparliamentary Friendship Group, in Budapest on Tuesday.
Ergun said that trade volume between Turkey and Hungary was two billion USD which was not on desired level.
Noting that Turkey was acting with "zero problem" principle in its relations with neighbors, Ergun said that this was for the regional and world peace.
Kelemen said that Turkey's Istanbul city and Hungary's Pecs city would be European capitals of culture in 2010, adding that these two cities should prepare joint and rich culture programs.
Noting that Hungary wanted to make cooperation with Turkey on energy issue, Kelemen said that Hungary supported Nabucco Project strongly, and assigned an ambassador who would work on this issue.
Kelemen also said that Hungary supported Turkey's EU membership.
