Inflation in Kazakhstan in 2009 will not exceed 7 %. The chairman of the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, Alihan Smailov, informed at the press conference on Monday, the Kazakhstan Today agency reports.

"Inflationary processes have considerably decreased in comparison with inflation last year - 5.1 % and, I think, inflation will likely to be within 7 % until the end of the year," A. Smailov informed.
