The national idea of the country should be based on national unity, economic competitiveness and an intellectual society. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said during live broadcast on Friday, the Kazakhstan Today agency reports.

"Firstly, this is national unity. Secondly - there should be the strong competitive economy," the President of Kazakhstan underlined.

Thirdly, one of the components of the national idea should be "intellectual force of the society". The fourth, consists in construction of the state respected in all other countries of the world," he added.
