Justice & Development (AK) Party Government is promoting the democratic initiative it launched to solve Kurdish issue.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, addressing a meeting in eastern province of Malatya, stated that the government would explain the democratic initiative to the whole Turkish nation untill the end of spring through conferences, symposiums and panel discussions.

Erdogan said, "we are ready to sacrifice all the chairs, we are ready to lay down all our titles and strip off all the ranks so that not even another single drop of soldier blood is not shed."

Erdogan said all the allegations of the opposition were lies and slanders. "There are people who benefit from this bloody market. There are people who derive political interests from this bloody sector. When the terrorism ends, the arms are silenced and the mothers shed no more tears, those who exploit this bloody market will go out of business."

Erdogan said the cost of fight against terrorism, which has been continuing for 25 years, was nearly 300 billion USD.

"We have never bargained with the terrorists and separatists, and will never do. None of the honorable government of this country has sat to table with the accused," he added.

Erdogan said the government got its determination from the nation, "we will solve the problem despite the ill-tempered, slanderer and hindering opposition. We will solve the problem despite those who exploit the matter and the inciters."

Prime Minister Erdogan said the talks in the parliamentary general assembly regarding democratic initiative talks was a milestone and a new start for them.

Commenting on relations with Israel, Erdogan said Turkey would continue its relations with Israel based on mutual interest.
