Gazprom Neft and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) have signed a memo of understanding on cooperation in the development of two Iranian oil fields, the oil arm of Russian energy giant Gazprom said on Wednesday.

Gazprom Neft said that after it prepares a feasibility study for the project, the parties will launch talks on contracts to develop the Azar and Shangule fields.
