Wednesday, 11 November 2009Uzbek-Italian business forum and cooperation exchange in the format of business negotiations were organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in collaboration with Italian-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce.
According to Agreement on partnership and collaboration between Uzbekistan and Europe Union and its members, which started on 1 July 1999, there is a regime of the greatest favour between our countries.
40 companies with participation of Italian investments actively work in Uzbekistan, 34 of them are joint companies, other 6 companies are using 100% Italian capital.
The event was conducted in the framework of the visit of business delegation from Italy, consisting of leaders and representatives of 11 Italian companies, employed in logistics and transport, producing of termostats for domestic apparatus, textile equipments, special machines for rollings and others.
The aim of the visit is development of commerce and economic relationship between Uzbek and Italian business circuses, establishment of direct mutually beneficial contacts with Uzbek businessmen and discussion of possible perspectives of bilateral collaboration.
Representatives of different ministries and departments, branch associations and societies, commerce and industrial companies, small and private business of Uzbekistan, employed in appropriate sphere, took part in the cooperation exchange. |
