Ne-Yo, one of today's most sought after writer-producers, has had five top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. His career also includes two #1 albums.

In 2008, Ne-Yo released his third CD, Year of the Gentleman which contains two top 10 hits, Closer and Miss Independent.

VOA's Larry London recently sat down with Ne-Yo as he prepared for a concert in Washington, D.C.In this interview, Ne-Yo reveals what "swag" is and what it takes to be a gentleman. He also talks about his mother's role in creating his new CD.
