Monday, 9 November 2009The EU-Russia Permanent Partnership Council on Environment will discuss on Tuesday climate change and prospects of cooperation in northern areas, the Russian Natural Resources Ministry said on Monday.
Russia and the European Union launched a dialogue on the environment in late 2005, after Russia ratified the Kyoto protocol in 2004. The Permanent Partnership Council on Environment was held in Helsinki in October 2006.
