Parliamentarians from both sidessaid Saturday that Saad Hariri reached a deal late Friday with theopposition, including the militant group Hezbollah. They say a newCabinet could be formed within the next two days.
Officials saythe new 30-minister Cabinet will include 15 ministers from Mr. Hariri'scoalition, 10 from the opposition, and five to be appointed byPresident Michel Suleiman.
Mr. Hariri has been trying to form agovernment since the June general election, when his coalition defeatedpoliticians allied with Hezbollah.
The Hariri coalition is supported by the United States and Saudi Arabia, while Hezbollah is backed by Syria and Iran.
