Turkish President Abdullah Gul met with President Ivan Gasparovic of Slovakia as part of his state visit to Bratislava.
An official welcoming ceremony took place in honor of President Gul.
Following the ceremony, the two leaders held a tete-a-tete meeting.
After presiding the meetings between Turkish and Slovakian delegations, President Gul and President Gasparovic will hold a joint news conference.
Turkish Ambassador in Bratislava Tunc Ugdul will host a luncheon in honor of President Gul and the accompanying delegation.
Gul is set to attend the Turkish-Slovakian Business Forum.
After receiving Slovakian opposition leader Mikulas Curinda, President Gul will partake in a banquet to be hosted in his honor by President Gasparovic.
