Turkish Health Ministry stated on Monday that the death toll reached six due to swine flu across Turkey.
The ministry noted that recently two children died of swine flu in central Anatolian province of Konya, adding that those children were a 22-month-old baby girl and a 14-year-old boy who had a chronic disease.
The ministry also said that nine swine flu patients were under treatment at intensive care units of several hospitals.
1,870 cases have been reported since the swine flu was first seen in Turkey on May 15, 2009.
