LETTER REPORTEDLY REVEALS ORIGINAL OF ALLEGED ANTI-GOVERNMENT PLOT DOCUMENT
A criminal court in Istanbul has reportedly received a letter together with the original copy of a document allegedly prepared to discredit the Justice and Development (AK) Party and the Gulen movement. A colonel with the Turkish military, Dursun Cicek was briefly detained several months ago when a xerox copy of the alleged document hit the news media. Cicek was later released as court said the xerox copy could not be accepted as a credible evidence. A forensic team reportedly said on Wednesday that the signature on the original copy of the document was of Col. Cicek's hand writing.
TURKISH MILITARY SAYS CELEBRATIONS DURING SURRENDER OF PKK MEMBERS UNACCEPTABLE
Turkish military said the celebrations held during and after the recent
surrender of 34 PKK members were unacceptable. Turkish General Staff spokesman Gen. Ferit Guler called on everyone to avoid acts that would create polarization and separation and drive the country into an atmosphere of conflict.

NO PERMISSION TO SHOW IN ISTANBUL
As Democratic Left Party (DTP) said a banquet would be hosted for PKK
members who would come to Istanbul, Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler said, "we do not expect such a delegation. Moreover, we will never allow such a show."
RAHSAN ECEVIT'S NEW PARTY IS DSHP
Rahsan Ecevit, who left Democratic Left Party (DSP) on June 4, came to the final point in her works to establish a new party. Name of the new party is determined as Democratic Left People's Party (DSHP). Names close to Rahsan Ecevit are not included in the party.
SPREADS QUICKLY, PROGRESSES SLIGHTLY
As swine flu spreads throughout Turkey, the schools were recessed for one day on October 30 to be disinfected. Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler said swine flu was detected in 28 students in 16 schools. Guler said the disease spread very quickly but progressed slightly than expected.

PKK WILL END BEFORE WE LEAVE
U.S. Ambassador in Ankara James Jeffrey said he hoped Turkey would end PKK terrorism before the United States withdrew from Iraq. Jeffrey said Democratic Move was not a plan of the United States, and described PKK a terrorist organization for Turkey, the United States and Europe. He said the United States exerts military, political and diplomatic efforts.
DOGAN GROUP LOOKS FOR NEW PARTNERS
Dogan Publishing Holding sent a statement to Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) and said the holding initiated works to get new partners and sell its shares wholly or partially. All media organizations are in the portfolio of the holding.

Regarding the incidents seen in surrender of the PKK members, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "we don't want to see them again. It will not serve to unity process."
