Azerbaijani President Officially Welcomed In Switzerland

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev who is on a visit in Switzerland was officially welcomed in this country, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.

The square was decorated with flags of the countries and a guard of honor was lined up in honor of Aliyev.

Swiss President Hans-Rudolf Merz met Aliyev. State and governmental officials of Switzerland were introduced to Aliyev and members of the Azerbaijani delegation to Merz.

The military band played the anthems of Azerbaijan and Switzerland.

The presidents reviewed the guard of honor and then posed for photographs.
