Taliban militants recollected the assistance given to locals by the NATO-led forces in Afghanistan, a local newspaper reported Monday.
  
Quoting locals in Logar province, 60 km south of Afghan capital Kabul, the Daily Arman-e-Millie said that Taliban fighters recollected the humanitarian aid provided to locals in Barak-e- Barak district, Xinhua reported.
  
NATO-led forces, according to the newspaper, had provided the assistance to the mosques in the villages where militants recollected the materials by force.
  
A villager Abdul Kabir disclosed that the troops contributed two power generators, two carpets, some paints canes and 30,000 Afghanis (600 U.S. dollars) for a mosque in Padkhab village but Taliban fighters came at night and recollected the items to sell.
  
Quoting governor of Barak-e-Barak district Mohammad Yasin, the newspaper added that the international troops was going to provide items worth 5,000 U.S. dollars to some 45 mosques.
  
Meantime, Taliban purported spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has rejected the claim, saying the troops attempt to destroy the mosques and Taliban would foil their designs.
