The operative search operations in connection with an armed incident in Agdash region of Azerbaijan continues.

During the operation to detain a member of an organized criminal group, thief Ruzman Huseynov, law enforcement officers faced resistance. Huseynov opened fire at the police, Prosecutor of the Agdash region Munis Abuzarli told Trend News on Oct.19.

Huseynov killed former representative of the Kotalan village executive power Bakhshali Peysalov, injured resident of the village Famil Akhmadov and then hid from the scene.

The Prosecutor Office of the Agdash region filed a suitcase in accordance with Articles 120.2.3, 120.2.4, 120.2.7 (deliberate murder), 29,120.2 (attempted murder) and 228 (illegal purchase, storage, transport, carry firearms) of the Azerbaijani Criminal code.

The Interior ministry holds investigation into Huseynov's criminal case in accordance with the Article "theft".

The criminal case was sent to the Serious Crimes Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Prosecutor Office of the Agdash region told Trend News.
