Time again for our Website of the Week, when we showcase interesting and innovative online destinations.

This week, audio and video from around the world, from comedy to cooking, religion to racing.

"Odeo.com is where individuals on the Web will come to find audio and video they can listen to or view and download, or subscribe to for that matter," says Rick Arturo, president of Odeo.com. It's a website where you can share and enjoy programs from around the world.

It includes a vast library of podcasts and videos from top name sources like Scientific American and CNN. The subjects range from the serious to celebrities to technology to comedy, with something for everyone.

"There's plenty of local language content in there," says Arturo. Our users are from around the globe, so there'll be many things in there that are under Spanish speaking or pick whatever language there is out there, and I think we have one of just about everything. It's very popular not just in English but in just about every language out there."

One thing I like about Odeo is the depth of the archives on many of their channels: 500 episodes of a Chinese language-learning podcast; more than 500 interviews by travel guru Rick Steves; more than 300 videos from the very funny (and very politically incorrect) Onion News Network.

"We do have this archive of over five million episodes of content — much of it is audio, but even more video at this point. So often times the host site that has it, they will take it down or won't have it easily findable on their site, but at Odeo we always have that link, and it will come up."

Whether you want to learn or just have fun, a great library of podcasts and videos that you can listen to or watch online, download, or share at Odeo.com, or visit our site, VOANews.com, for a link to this and more than 250 other Websites of the Week.
