Public Prosecutor Calls To Toughen Verdict Of Brothers Accused Of Murdering Small Girls In Azerbaijan

Public prosecutor called for toughening of brothers' punishment accused of murder of small girls in Azerbaijan.

The trial on appellate complaint and protest was held in Sumgayit's Appeal Court. Brothers are accused of murder of residents of Dag Biliji village of Devechi region Nailya Majidova, 14, and Reyhan Majidova, 7.

Public prosecutor called the court for sentencing Elchin Ismayilov to 10 years of imprisonment but Elnur Ismayilov - to 15 years.

Public prosecutor urged not to meet appellate complaint of accused Tavakkul Ismayilov to replace life imprisonment by urgent punishment, appellate protest of suffered Majidovs to liquidate the verdict, return of the case to preliminary investigation and determination of other participants of the crime. 

The court will announce its decision on October 27.

Tavakkul Ismayilov was sentenced to life imprisonment, Elnur Ismayilov - to six years of imprisonment, Elchin Ismayilov - to four years. These criminals are accused of murder of Majidov sisters and committing other grave crimes.
