The Iranian Shipping Lines has denied the United Kingdom's claims on the transport of illegal and nuclear cargo by its own vessel, the FARS news agency reported.

"The UK has imposed sanctions on Iran's Shipping Agency and laid claims in connection with the activities of this administration. In response, we (the Iran Shipping Lines) announced that all actions of the administration meet the requirements of international laws. The Iran Shipping Lines did not violate those laws," the Iran Shipping Lines reported.

The company is engaged in transportation of freight cargo and the statement by the UK on the transport of nuclear and missile technology is nothing but slander, the message said.

The UK's sanctions can slightly influence on the company's operations in international waters and ports, as well as the level of the ship cooperation between Iran and Britain is insignificant.
