President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari congratulated President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and the Azeri people on the Independence Day, AzerTAj state news agency reported.

Head of Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi, also congratulated the President of Azerbaijan on Independence Day.
