Georgian Parliamentary Speaker To Hold Meetings At Us Congress & Senate

The Georgian Parliamentary Speaker, David Bakradze this morning has left for the United States. According to the Parliament of Georgia, during the visit, the speaker will hold meetings at the US Congress and Senate.


During the visit, Bakradze will visit Washington and New York.


In addition to official meetings, the speaker of parliament and his entourage will visit the Georgia Sunday school in New York and Georgian theater. The speaker will also meet with the Georgian diaspora.


Bakradze is accompanied by vice-speaker from the opposition Paata Davitaia. Before the flight to the U.S., Davitaia said the main topic of negotiations in the US Senate and the Congress will be to ensure Georgia's security from external threats.
