The two leaders are to have a working lunch at the White House and then make statements to reporters.
Later Tuesday, President Obama, first lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, are to attend a concert on the White House South Lawn celebrating Hispanic musical heritage. The concert will include a number of well-known Hispanic performers including Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony, Jose Feliciano, George Lopez and Thalia.
The president is to make brief remarks at the beginning of the concert. The event is to be televised nationally at a later date.
