President Serzh Sargsian of Armenia will come to Turkey to watch a World Cup European qualifying group game between Turkish and Armenian national soccer teams.
President Sargsian told reporters before his departure for Moscow, "providing nothing extraordinary happens in these two days, I will go to Bursa and support my favourite team. I see no serious basis not to accept this invitation."
The match will be played in the northwestern Turkish province of Bursa on October 14.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul travelled to Yerevan in September 2008 to watch the first leg. His visit added momentum to the process which resulted in signing of two protocols envisaging establishment of diplomatic ties and development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
