Monday, 12 October 2009Turkish President Abdullah Gul said on Sunday that it was the right time to end terrorism problem in the country.
Delivering a speech at a meeting held by Kayseri Chamber of Industry, Gul said that Turkish businessmen had been going through tough days recently, but they would have important opportunities in the coming years.
There has been a great transformation in the country, and its democracy and economy recorded a great progress, he said.
"But still we have to work hard to boost economy and strengthen democracy," Gul said.
"We should not waste time and energy. We will leave behind terrorism problem. Current international and regional conditions are appropriate for ending this problem," President Gul said.
Gul added there was need for cooperation and solidarity to solve problems of Turkey.
