A woman was evacuated to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba in critical condition after she was allegedly stabbed by her son in their home in Ra'anana on Friday evening. Ariana Margolis quickly succumbed to her wounds as doctors pronounced her dead shortly afterwards.

The woman's son is also suspected of stabbing his 38-year-old brother at his home. The wounded man was also taken to Meir Hospital for treatment in serious condition.

The suspect, aged 26, was cooperating with police who arrested him immediately after the incident unfolded.

Police opened an investigation while the motive for the attack is yet unclear.
