The Turkish ambassador to Sweden hosted a reception on Tuesday to pay farewell to the country after his five-year term in office ended.
Ambassadors, diplomats as well as Turkish and Swedish guests attended the reception hosted by Turkish Ambassador in Stockholm Necip Eguz.
Eguz told the A.A correspondent that he would serve at the Directorate General for Bilateral Political Affairs and Maritime Affairs and Aviation in Ankara.
There has been a great progress in relations between Turkey and Sweden in the last five years, he said.
"Trade volume between the two countries has increased to 3.1 billion U.S. dollars," Erguz said.
Zergun Koruturk will serve as the new ambassadress in Stockholm.
