Erdogan, Talabani Discuss Fight Against Terrorism

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iraqi President Jalal Talabani discussed fight against terrorism, problems between Iraq and Syria, as well as meetings of Turkey-Iraq Strategic Cooperation at their meeting on Wednesday, sources have said.
The two leaders met in New York.
Talabani welcomed Turkey's efforts to resolve the recent problem between Syria and Iraq, diplomats said.
In a bid to solve the problem, officials of Turkey, Iraq and Syria would get together at a meeting at the United Nations this week, diplomats said.
The meeting will also be attended by Secretary-General of the Arab League Amr Moussa.
