Friday, 11 September 2009Kyrgyz special authorities attended a meeting with Dmitry Medvedev, the President of Russia. The Kyrgyz leaders participated in a forum with CIS intelligence and security agency leaders in Moscow.
Mikhail Fradkov, the Chief of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, said that the leaders managed to estimate near-term prospects and sort out a common plan agenda, “…from information interchange to joint operational procedures and he added “We drafted a plan of operations, joint actions, our employees and the staff is directed on cooperation.”
Forum participants met with Medvedev, last Friday at the conference. The Russian leader emphasized the necessity of joint cooperation to fight not only the traditional threats -terrorism, extremism, trans-border crime, illegal migration and drug trafficking but also with crimes, caused by the world financial crisis and modern technological boom.
According to Medvedev, aside from the aggravation of internal states’ problems, the crises caused a number of seekers to use the crisis as a solution for various tasks.
After mentioning cyber crimes, Medvedev pointed out illegal financial transactions and electronic spying for financial flows. He added “I consider fighting with the phenomena as very important and absolutely new for our areas of cooperation.”
