U.S militaries will visit Azerbaijan to get familiarized with training of a marine battalion of the Azerbaijani Naval Forces, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told Trend News on Sep.1.

For this purpose, the U.S. Navy delegation will pay a visit to Baku on Sep.14-18. After getting familiarized with the combat activities of the marine battalions of the Azerbaijani Naval Forces, they will present their recommendations.

Under the U.S. - Azerbaijani bilateral military cooperation program, experts from the U.S Navy will evaluate the ability of the Azerbaijani Marine Special Forces on neutralization of ammunitions during their visit from Sep.14 to 18, the same source added.
