Monday, 24 August 2009Puppet Festival was organized in the park of culture named after Gafur Gulyam in Tashkent.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Republican scientific-methodical center of folklore and cultural-educational work, an association Hunarmand, International Charitable Fund Oltin Meros, Public Youth Movement Kamolot and other organizations.
On this Puppet Festival, kindergarten students, children from the houses of mercy of the capital, children from large families, teachers and mentors were invited, UzA reported.
The national theater plays the important role in enhancing the spirituality of young people. National theater, including the puppets, has an important place in formation of artistic taste, thinking of our children, educating them with kindness and generosity.
The main purpose of the event along with the preservation and further development of folk arts is the formation of the younger generation that respects the rich spiritual heritage is also an extensive propaganda and popularization of folk puppet theater.
National toys manufactured by the master puppeteer from the Khorezm region, leader of the popular puppet show Sayhun of Hanka district, Mansour Kuryazov, awarded prizes in many international festivals and competitions of puppet theaters in countries such as France, Greece, Spain, Germany, Russia.
As the artist says, a national toy plays an important role in enhancing the spirituality of children, the general cultural development.
At the celebration there were the best performances of the National children's puppet theater, amateur puppet theaters from Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the capital. There were also exhibition of puppets created by the hands of talented folk artists. |
