Social and economic development of Almaty for January - July, 2009 |

Friday, 21 August 2009The Statistics Department of Almaty informed on the results of social and economic development of the city in January - July, 2009, Kazakhstan Today agency reports.
Industrial production in January - July, 2009 has been 175 billion 421 million KZT that is by 21.2 % less than in January - July, 2008. In particular, in manufacturing industry volume of production has decreased by 21.3 % and in the sphere of manufacture and distribution of electric power, gas and water - by 17.3 %.
According to the statistical data, in January - July, 2009, volume of construction works (services) has amounted to 115 billion 994.3 million KZT that is by 38.2 % less than the level of January - July, 2008.
