Innovation sphere does not develop in Kazakhstan

Innovation sphere has not been developing in Kazakhstan. The Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Aset Isekeshev, stated today during the government session on the results of half a year, Kazakhstan Today agency reports.


"Unfortunately, in the first half of the year, the situation in development of innovative sphere has not improved, but remained at the same level," A. Isekeshev said.


According to the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, the share of expenses on science in GDP structure within the last years has not exceeded 1.1 % that is scientific and technical activity is not the basis of economic development of the country.
