Sunday, 16 August 2009Mexican officials say at least 19 people have been killed in a riotthat erupted in a prison in the northern Mexican state of Durango.
Authorities say another 26 were injured in Friday's fighting.
Mexicanpublic safety officials say the fighting at the prison in the city ofGomez Palacio was the result of rivalries among prison gangs.
