Friday, 7 August 2009None of high schools of Kazakhstan has received international accreditation. The official representative of the department, Serik Irsaliev, informed on Wednesday during the briefing in the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, "Kazakhstan Today" agency reports.
"Competitiveness of the nation is defined not simply by a significant quantity of students, but by a considerable quantity of students receiving high quality education," S. Irsaliev said.
"There is no simple answer to the question of quality of higher education in Kazakhstan. First, practice of realization of the program Bolashak demonstrates that the graduates of our high schools with Bachelor degrees go to the best universities of the world and successfully complete their academic programs. There are no problems with recognition of their diplomas abroad," the official representative noted.
"On the other hand, no Kazakhstan high school has received international institutional accreditation by the world recognized agencies," S. Irsaliev said.
