Uzbekistan, Japan hold foreign ministerial consultations

Political consultations between foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Japan were held in the city of Tashkent on 27 July this year, the news release by the Uzbek Foreign Ministry's Press Service said.

During the consultations the sides had an exchange of views on the state and prospects of the bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The sides paid attention to the discussions of the urgent international and regional issues of mutual interest, including the situation in Afghanistan, according to the news release.
