Wednesday, 29 July 2009The Center of Supercomputer Technologies will be created in Kazakhstan at the Fund of the First President, "Kazakhstan Today" agency reports citing the fund.
The Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan and the largest manufacturer of microprocessors INTEL signed the memorandum of cooperation in the field of creation of the Center of Supercomputer Technologies and development of high-efficiency parallel calculations in Kazakhstan.
The main goals of the center are development of high-efficiency calculations in Kazakhstan in the interests of science, higher education and the industry on the basis of multinuclear microprocessors Intel and the parallel software and creation of technologies, models and methods of application of high-efficiency parallel calculations for solution of scientific and engineering problems.
