Tuesday, 28 July 2009Russia's chief sanitary doctor, the chair of Rospotrebnadzor, Gennady Onishchenko, has forbidden children's groups to travel to Great Britain in connection with the new influenza A (H1N1) virus, "Kazakhstan Today" agency reports citing television channel Vesti.
In the interview to Vesti, the chief health officer of Russia said that the situation with the influenza A (H1N1) virus in Great Britain has remained the worst in Europe.
"I signed the order that no group of children goes to Great Britain in August," G. Onishchenko informed.
As he said, 28 people have been diagnosed with the influenza A (H1N1) virus.
