Tuesday, 28 July 2009No more people have been diagnosed with the influenza A (H1N1) virus in Kazakhstan as of today. 8 people out of 13 have been already removed from quarantine. The Minister of Health of Kazakhstan, Zhaksylyk Doskaliev, informed during the government session, "Kazakhstan Today" agency reports.
"Fortunately, we have not revealed any new cases. 6 people out of 13 were removed from quarantine yesterday. Two more people will be removed today. Five more people will, hopefully, be removed from quarantine by the end of the week," Z. Doskaliev informed.
He also said that travel restrictions will not be imposed to the affected countries. "It is much better to undertake preventive measures than counter measures," Z. Doskaliev explained.
He also informed that there were two flights today from Istanbul and Moscow. None of the passengers had fever.
As informed earlier, the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan will present on July 31 to the government the national plan on response to the pandemic of the influenza A (H1N1) virus. At the session of the group created to struggle against distribution in Kazakhstan of the influenza A (H1N1) virus, Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Serik Ahmetov, assigned to develop the national plan on response to the pandemic.
