Newly appointed Uzbek envoy to Malaysia grants credentials

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Shukur Sabitov granted the credentials to the King of that country Mizan Zaynal Abidin.

During the conversation that followed the official ceremony the Malaysian monarch has positively assessed the state and prospects of development of the Uzbek-Malaysian relations in political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas.

The King also spoke of his country's keen interest in further developing the mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan in the interests of people of both states, Jahon reports.
