Belarus intends to establish high-level partnership relations with Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said on Thursday at the meeting with heads of foreign representations, "Kazakhstan Today" agency reports citing Belarus news agency BELTA.

"Belarus intends to establish high-level relations and very close partnership with Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan," A. Lukashenko said.

"At present, this is not politicians' goal any more. We have done everything. Now it is all in the hands of some enterprises," the President of Belarus said.

Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan have important strategic energy resources, volume of which exceeds the scale of their own and traditional foreign markets. These countries have become active players of international importance. Owing to these factors, they will have to face serious industrialization of their economies.
