Friday, 24 July 2009The deals on polyethylene granules remain as main asset in the exchange export market, allowing to increase the exchange export on absolute volumes on third month running. So the volume of export sales of polyethylene from 21 April till today has made up US$11.4 million.
Structurally on exchange export market they are represented by four groups (10 brands) of polyethylene, the demand on which of foreign consumers is virtually comparable.
Nevertheless a greater demand can be seen on polyethylene of F-Y 346, F-0320 and F-0220-S brands, consolidated share of sales of which in the reporting period made up 43%, or US$4.9 million.
In spite of that State Chemical Complex is tending to support sufficient level of supply by whole nomenclature of polyethylene on market, demand on particular types of brand gradually exceeds it. At least the prices for particular brands of granules have actively increased, Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange reports.
In particular, during exchange tenders on FY 347 polyethylene, the deal prices have held at starting level (US$900 for 1 ton) for nearly more than a month. From mid June they started to increase. The last deal with granules on this brand was fixed at the level of US$905 for 1 ton, and by experts view, this is not a limit yet. |
